The
Plaza Hotel Lucchesi (or the Lucchesi as our faithful guests call
it) is surely one of Florence's historical hotels. It offers a solicitous,

rooms and 10 Duplex Suites. All are furnished in the warm, cosy style
which distinguishes the Lucchesi and are equipped with the most modern
facilities. Many overlook the River Arno or the Santa Croce church.

"La Serra" Restaurant offers local and national cuisine

menu of the day is offered for those requiring a full, but rapid,
meal. La Serra is also the ideal place to meet for business lunches

We
were in Italy in October of 2000 and we stayed at the Plaza Lucchesi
Hotel. This is the most charming hotel with rooms with the most
magnificant views. Our room had a balcony that face the Duomo,
it was breathtaking. The staff was so nice and helpful. Our stay
here was one of the highlights of our trip.

We
had one of the rooms with a balcony facing the Santa Croche church.
The room was beautiful and the view of the church breathtaking!
Nothing could beat a room service cappuccino and the sun rising
on Santa Croche, the mist on the hills, and the anticipation of
a day full of beauty. The staff was fun and relaxed. They went
the extra mile on our every request. Breakfast was fresh and had
an excellent assortment of fresh fruit, cheese, pastries and proscuitto.
I will forever remember our perfect stay at the Lucchesi and will
never consider staying anywhere else in Florence.
